Let me just focus on four points [...] Firstly, let's understand that Civil Society and practically the non-profit sector, has an accountability mechanism built into it. It is a simple one. It is not sufficient, but it is a powerful one. It's a simple, logic of perform or perish. Not one single non-profit organisation receives any source of funding on an obligatory basis.
