Information and Discussion Sessions

Outside the framework of the thematic working groups and the plenary sessions, the Forum also hosted about 30 information and discussion sessions of about 90 minutes. Those sessions provided the opportunity to share information on a wide range of issues: from intellectual property to desertification, health and the International Court of Justice. The last part of the session was usually dedicated to questions and discussion with the participants.

Workshops

We also organized several half-day workshops focused on specific issues. These workshops were interactive and aimed at practical outcomes. For instance, two workshops drafted and adopted recommendations for international conferences: the World Summit on the Information Society and the World Summit on Sustainable Development.
